Detailed Robin Hood Review
NetEnt really do have some awe inspiring slot games and one we think many players will enjoy playing time and time again is their Robin Hood slot! This slot has 20 pay lines and is a multi-denomination slot on which you can play up to 10 coins per line on each spin you decide to play off!
Bonus Games, Bonus Features and Special Reel Symbols
The Robin Hood slot game has a set of free spins up for grabs and the way they are awarded is quite unique. What you have to do is to spin in over any amount of time on any number of base game spins four of the Money Bag reel symbols.
When one or more of them spin in they will be saved up and as soon as you spin in the fourth one the bonus free spins round will then play off. Be aware that if you have saved up one, two or three of those Money Bag symbols they will be saved for one year from the time you last played the slot and will then expire, so the onus is on you ensuring you do try and get four of them spinning in before they expire and are lost forever!
Once you have spun in four of them then you need to click on the Treasure Chest symbols to see how many coins are in each bag collected up, the number of free spins you will be awarded with will be determined by just how many coins are revealed when you do so.
Before the bonus game starts to play off one of the Character reel symbols is randomly selected and will become an additional extra wild for the duration of the free spins bonus game. As the free spins then start to play off on reels 2, 3 and 4 there will be Free Spins bonus symbols, two of those bonus symbols spinning in awards an additional 5 free spins and three of them spinning in awards an extra 10 free spins to you!
Our Opinion of the Robin Hood Slot
We are not really that fond of playing video slot games on which you are required to have to save up a certain number of bonus symbols when playing of the base game over any amount of time before the bonus game does finally get triggered and awarded to you.
One thing we do often find with such slots is that you will always end up reaching a point in any playing session when you only require one additional bonus symbol to spin in before the bonus game does eventually get triggered and awarded to you but you will be running out of credits in your casino account.
What you will then be faced with when such a thing happens is that you will have to made a fresh deposit into your casino account to carry on playing, in the hope that you then do spin in the bonus symbol to trigger the feature.
There will never be any guarantees that when you have topped up your casino account that extra bonus game awarding reel symbol will spin in and if it does there is no guarantees you will win back anywhere near as much cash as you have spent trying to trigger that bonus game!
So keep that in mind when playing this slot as you can often spend way more cash than you intended just to trigger a bonus game, which may turn out to be a very low paying one, however you never know you may just win big too!
