Welcome to our online poker strategy section. The aim is to advise on a range of strategy articles and videos to help you get ahead in online poker and become a winning player. We have articles about poker strategy divided between tournaments and cash games.

Online poker isn’t getting easier and to be a winning player these days you need to keep up with all of the changes in optimal strategy as the game develops. While the games are tougher than they were a few years ago, there’s still plenty of money to be made once you can learn how to adjust to the over-aggressive players that populate the online poker tables today. Cash Game Strategy Video Series

We’re kicking things off with the first strategy video below. In the video series, Rob plays some €0.05/€0.10 short handed poker on French site Winamax, showing you how to be a winner at these low stakes games.

Part 1:

The first video is a general introduction to the game and tracking software package Holdem Manager, where Rob gets into a few interesting hands.

In this video, Rob talks about the importance of playing hands in position and playing particularly tight when you’re in the blinds, but very loose when you’re on the button.
